There are a variety of products available to help you and your child cope with bedwetting, enuresis and childhood incontinence. These include bedwetting alarms that are worn on clothing, disposable products such as underpants, diapers and pads, reusable products such as bedwetter pants, mattress pads, plastic pants and also a variety of other products, medications, and tools.
While we provide links and information to disposable products such as youth disposable briefs (diapers) and underpants, for a more long-term solution we strongly recommend the use of a night-time alarm and associated program to help your child stay dry at night.
Disposable products such as diapers should only be used in the case of severe childhood incontinence, and should never be used to humiliate or shame a child for wetting the bed. The use of disposable underpants has become common for children 4 and over, but if your child is still wetting the bed regularly after the age of seven, you should see your child's doctor to rule out any medical cause for the wetting.
Wetting the bed is nothing to be ashamed of - millions of kids wake up wet every morning. Reassure your child it is not their fault, and talk to them about the different ways to make sure they bed remains dry. Most kids will outgrow bedwetting by themselves, but using a bedwetting alarm will greatly reduce the time involved in getting to to a dry bed.
